strategic marketing plans + integrated marketing
Lauren Black, President of Lawyers Marketing Agency, and Jeanne Frazer, President of vitalink and The Expert Speakers, gave a joint presentation on the Fundamental Cornerstones for Developing Your Strategic Marketing Plan & Strategy at the PILMMA (Personal Injury Lawyers Management & Marketing Association) Conference last month in Las Vegas. One of the key cornerstones that will make every marketing dollar work harder is to integrate your efforts.
Another cornerstone of your marketing efforts is client relationship management & marketing (CRM&M). Some call it pandering to your base. We call it effective. Marketing to new clients is 3-8 times more expensive, yet many overlook this CRM&M cornerstone. Make sure you include an action list for new and existing customers in your plans.
Though our presentation was geared to law firms, strategic planning helps save money for all types of businesses when you set solid goals and develop your plan with checklists for your target markets, brand messages and budget. By setting up these checklists, you have an easy decision making process to follow and you will be less likely to make impulsive decisions or follow paths that will draw you away from goal conversion.
